Dr. Edward Ratush

Dr. Edward Ratush is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who specializes in addiction treatment. He offers comprehensive treatment for substance abuse disorders, anxiety, treatment-resistant anxiety, and Adult Attention Deficit Disorder (AADD). He holds a medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine and was trained in Sex Therapy at Rutgers University. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he received the prestigious Resident Teacher of the Year Award. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Addiction Medicine.

Because Dr. Ratush believes people have an innate capacity to heal themselves, he emphasizes a holistic approach that embraces nutrition, exercise, meditation, yoga, and breathing as the first line of treatment. Building on this foundation, Dr. Ratush is involved in the development of innovative medical devices and technology that support a holistic approach while minimizing or eliminating side effects.

Dr. Ratush is the cofounder of SOHOMD, a psychiatry practice on the forefront of quality teletherapy and telepsychiatry services. Additionally, he is a pioneer at delivering innovative methods of mental health and awareness to his patients and the community at large.
